XTM Engine

• For Excel and XML files there is now a feature to control the length of the target segment, when it is specified.

XTM Editor

• To reduce the number of false positive QA warnings there is now an option to ignore words in the target text that are present in the source text.
• A search field has been added to the concordance pop-up allowing translators to search for any text.
• There is a new option for concordance to search for exact matches only.
• New segment filter to find segments with: “The same source and target text”.

Project Manager

• There is now an extra field by each step in the workflow to show the due date and time
• Emails are sent to the linguists and project managers to warn them when the due has been exceeded.
• The due date of the task is now displayed to the translator in My Inbox. The dates turn red when the date has been exceeded.
• There is an improved user management interface which now includes linguist rate cards

General

• Dates and times are now read and displayed according to the the user's time zone.

Project Manager

• When a project contains more than 10 files there is a new tab in the project editor to enable the files to be grouped, providing improved manageability and performance.
• It is now possible to assign different workflows to different languages in the same project.
• In the Project Editor there is a new page that lists the languages in the project and allows you to assign resources to all the files for each language.
• There is improved handling and visibility of the following files
  • Files without any translatable content
  • Files types that are not supported
  • Files that gave an error on analysis
• It is now possible to download corrector’s changes and all comments to Excel.

XTM Editor

• A wide range of filters have been created to make certain types of segments visible in XTM Editor. The list of filters can be customised and arranged by each translator.
• A linguist can now configure the QA checker so that it
  • runs automatically when the segment is set to done.
  • skips ICE matches.
• It is now possible to configure XTM so that the translator is alerted when they try to finish a task, but not all segments are complete.
• Project managers can now switch between languages from within XTM Editor.
• The translator can now navigate between files in the same project from within XTM Editor.
• Within the concordance tab you can now choose whether to search for text in the source or the target.
• There is now better control over the visibility of the names of other users in data relating to TM matches, terms and comments.
• It is now possible to configure how the status of each segment changes after the correction step. When corrector 1 approves a segment then all the next steps can be set to approved.

TM Manager

XTM Xchange - Stage 1

• XTM Cloud customers can preregister with XTM Xchange
• Registered XTM Xchange users can choose to publish some or all of their information in XTM Xchange

• If a segment appears in 2 projects If there is a newer match the new match appears and overwrites the old one and marked with an orange border so Linguists can now choose which edit to select if there is a conflict between 2 parallel projects
• The undo and redo icons have been replace with a popup showing the full history of the segment
• Improved handling of variables in RTL languages
• The real time updating of TM matches in a segment has been improved
