XTM International was presented with the Linguistic Technologies Award at the EU-sponsored LT-Innovate Summit which took place on June 19th in Brussels, Belgium.
The Summit brought together leading technology and translation companies from across Europe, as part of an EU initiative to foster improved co-operation and advancement of language technologies.
Over 30 companies presented their activities and technologies at the LT-Summit in front of an audience and expert jury, with each being judged on the following main criteria:

Winners of the LT-Innovate Awards 2012 were designated on the basis of the jury’s evaluation.
CTO Andrzej Zydron, who presented, stated: “We are very pleased to receive this excellent award and feel it reflects the outstanding technology that is incorporated into our CAT tool and TMS. XTM Cloud has the potential to make a huge impact on the localization business, as more companies move to maximise the benefits of Cloud computing. We promote localization open standards and interoperability between CAT tools, helping all sizes of organisation to benefit from automating the localization process.“
Jochen Hummel, Chairman of LT-Innovate concluded: “The language infrastructure is an important piece of enabling technology that the EU should procure as soon as possible. It would be a major booster for the European content economy with positive spill-over effects for almost every segment of the economy and society at large”.
